A Bit of Background

Elevation Programme (Previously known as Popup Western Cape) registered in 2017 as NPO with the Department of Social Development under 197-234 NPO and is also registered as an NPC under CIPC as 2017/321172/08.

Our Centre is based in 8 Kollege Street, Wellington with various skill development opportunities as well as Job Creation spaces but we serve the wider communities of Drakenstein.

Elevation Programme has a dedicated team that works in the communities and utilize the community centres where our beneficiaries are situated. 

Our board of at least three directors oversees the governance of the organization in line with our constitution by meeting at least four times a year and ensuring that our policies are implemented.

The managing director leads the staff team consisting of a Program Developer, Facilitator / mentor, an admin assistant and four interns as community representatives.

As a trusted organization in the community, we have assisted over 1200 unemployed persons with life skills, work readiness, career guidance and connected a large amount of our beneficiaries to full-time employment opportunities as well as funded training opportunities.

We have established a big network where we serve on various forums for Skills Development and Job Creation to assist our community members with fair opportunities.
