ABOUT
A Bit of Background
The Elevation Programme was officially registered in 2017 as a Nonprofit Company (NPC) with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) under registration number 2017/321172/08.
Located at 8 Kollege Street, Wellington, our center offers a range of skill development programs and job creation initiatives, benefiting not only the local community of Drakenstein but also the surrounding areas.
Our organization is supported by a committed team that actively engages with communities, utilizing local community centers to reach our beneficiaries. Governance is overseen by a board of no fewer than three directors who convene at least four times annually to ensure compliance with our constitution and implementation of organizational policies.
Under the leadership of the managing director, our dedicated staff comprises a Program Manager, Facilitator/Mentor, an Administrative Assistant, and four interns who represent the community's interests.
With a solid reputation in the community, we have positively impacted over 1500 unemployed individuals by offering life skills training, work readiness programs, career guidance, and facilitating access to both full-time employment opportunities and funded training initiatives.
Through our extensive network, we actively participate in various forums focusing on skills development and job creation, striving to provide equitable opportunities for all members of our community.
